Well, it’s been forever since I’ve chatted with all of you readers. My apologies. We’ve been in the midst of musical season. Both of my kiddos, age 10 and 12, made the high school musical as munchkins in the Wizard of Oz. Later, they were given the part of the Mayor of Munchkin Land and the only female Lollipop Guild munchkin. I volunteered for the last week or so, helping behind the scenes. Take a moment and enjoy my week through pictures.
There is something about being a part of these kinds of productions that is magical, especially for young kids. Maybe it’s being part of a team, knowing you are vital to the end product. I think it’s the same with writing. We have the back stage people (Editors/formatters/publishing houses) and the director/producer (me, the author), but I need an audience to participate in opening night. I could not be an author if it weren’t for you readers. You are part of my process. So, for that, I thank you.
